A workshop exploring the cultural significance of different Henna designs. Participants will be guided by Nazhat to make a design of their own which they will then apply to their skin.
With a vision to reposition henna as more than a ceremonial adornment, Nuzhat challenges boundaries by placing henna in everyday and unexpected contexts. From intricate patterns on skin to bold imprints on unconventional bodies, she invites us to consider henna as both wearable art and a form of visual storytelling that belongs equally on the body, in the home, and within gallery walls.
Please do not book if you are allergic to henna, thank you.
